A Thirty Crow Completing Story

Once upon a time, on a very hot summer day, a crow became very thirsty. It flew here and there in search of water but could not find any. At last, it saw a pitcher under a tree and flew down to it.

There was a little water at the bottom of the pitcher, but the crow could not reach it with its beak. For a moment, it felt disappointed, but soon a clever idea came into its mind. It picked up some small stones and dropped them into the pitcher one by one.

Gradually, the water level rose high enough. The crow then drank water to its heart’s content and flew away happily.
