One day, a lion was sleeping peacefully under a tree in a forest. A little mouse was playing nearby. While running around, it accidentally climbed onto the lion’s body. The lion woke up angrily and caught the mouse in his paw. He decided to kill it. The frightened mouse begged for mercy and said, “Please forgive me this time. One day I may help you.” The lion laughed at the idea because the mouse was very small. Still, he felt pity and let it go.
A few days later, the lion was caught in a hunter’s net. He tried hard to escape but failed. He roared loudly for help. The little mouse heard the roar and quickly came there. Seeing the lion in trouble, it began to cut the ropes of the net with its sharp teeth. After some time, the lion became free. He thanked the mouse and realized that even a small creature can be helpful.
