At last, he stopped trying. As he walked away, he looked at the grapes and said, “Those grapes are sour. I do not want them.” In reality, the fox said this because he could not reach the grapes. Thus, he tried to hide his failure by finding an excuse.
Moral: It is easy to despise what we cannot get.
